Hawthorne: Medical Drama on TNT
Hawthorne (sometimes stylized HawthoRNe) is an hour-long medical drama on the TNT television network starring Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Vartan. It premiered on June 16, 2009. On Thursday, September 16, 2010 it was announced that Hawthorne has been renewed for a third season consisting of 10 episodes. The third season of the show is scheduled to premiere on June 14, 2011.
Christina Hawthorne is introduced as Chief Nursing Officer heading a group of nurses at Richmond Trinity Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. She is very passionate about her work and is always advocating for her patients and her staff, even when it threatens her job. While acclimating to the new work atmosphere, she must also deal with a new relationship that has formed between her and Tom. She deals with the fact that he wants a commitment now and she is still unsure if she can adjust to becoming close with someone else.

Pretty Little Liars: Mystery Drama TV Series on ABC Family
Pretty Little Liars is an American mystery drama television series created by Marlene King. Based on the popular series of novels written by Sara Shepard, the show premiered on June 8, 2010 on ABC Family. The series follows the lives of Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale), Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario), Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson) and Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell), four girls whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their queen bee, Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse). One year later, they begin receiving messages from a mysterious figure using the name "A" who threatens to expose their secrets. At first they think it's Alison herself, but after she is found dead, the girls realize that someone else knows their secrets, — including long-hidden ones they thought only Alison knew.
After an initial order of 10 episodes, on June 28, 2010, ABC Family ordered an additional 12 episodes for season one. These episodes began airing on January 3 and ended on March 21, 2011. The ratings success of the first 10 episodes prompted the book series to be extended beyond the initial eight novels. On January 10, 2011 ABC Family renewed the series for a second season. The second season premiered on June 14, 2011.

The Nine Lives of Chloe King is an American television series premiered on ABC Family on June 14, 2011. The one-hour drama is based on the book series of the same name by Celia Thomson.
The protagonist, Chloe King, is a teenager who discovers she has special powers, including enhanced speed, hearing, agility, and the ability to climb objects by extending her nails like claws. When she realizes a mysterious figure is shadowing her, she goes on to uncover that she is a descendant of an ancient race. She learns she may be the key to protecting the race from human assassins, which have hunted them for thousands of years.

The American version is developed by Veena Sud and produced by Fox Television Studios and Fuse Entertainment. The series' first season, consisting of 13, hour-long episodes, premiered on the cable channel AMC on April 3, 2011, with a two-hour premiere.
Set in Seattle, Washington, the series follows the police investigation, the grieving family and the suspects, after the homicide of a young girl, Rosie Larsen (Katie Findlay). Each of the 13 episodes chronicles one day of the investigation.
In contrast to the original Danish series, executive producer Veena Sud explained, "We're creating our own world. We are using the Danish series as a blueprint, but we are kind of diverging and creating our own world, our world of suspects and, potentially, ultimately who killed Rosie Larsen." Sud describes the series as "slow-burn storytelling in a sense that every moment that we don't have to prettify or gloss over or make something necessarily easy to digest, that we're able to go to all sorts of places that are honest, and dark, and beautiful and tragic, in a way that is how a story should be told."

The popularity of the show has resulted in increased business for Carlo's Bake Shop, and increased tourism to the Hoboken area.
